Celebrating our 5th Anniversary

Seely Homes LLC was officially formed on January 2, 2020, five years ago! We invited clients, trade partners, friends, and family to celebrate our 5^th anniversary at an Open House on Friday, January 3, 2025. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their first Friday of 2025 to spend some time with us. That truly meant a lot!!

Five years ago, when Adrian and I took a leap of faith and formed Seely Homes LLC we were in a challenging place in our lives and careers. We’d had no income for over three months, as I had recently lost my sales job with another builder and he’d been an incredible stay-at-home dad for over a decade. We had children in elementary school and PreK – now we have a high school sophomore! It was a bit crazy when we were given the opportunity to manage the construction of two spec homes for local investors. Still, the combination of my home design and sales experience coupled with Adrian’s construction background, business sense, and attention to detail proved to be a great mix.

When the world shut down in March 2020, just after we had started our first home, we thought nothing would come of our business. But the housing market heated up that summer and we began building custom homes and additions. Soon the sunroom of our house just wasn’t enough space to run our business out of.

Many joined us three years ago when we had the grand opening of our Bridgeville office and showroom. That was a game changer, and suddenly we were building a dozen homes a year.

We could not have done any of this without God’s blessing and your support and belief in us. And we could not have grown without a great team of employees and trade partners.

We experienced some changes in 2024 and welcomed three wonderful women to our team!

Cassie joined us last February with seven years of experience as a top-producing salesperson with Telescope Pictures in Ocean City. She was a superstar in her role there and brings that same excellence to new home sales and marketing, as she’s learned so much this year. We also love her graphic design and social media skills!

Dawn recently married and moved back to Delaware and joined us as our Sales and Marketing Assistant, bringing extensive experience in office support as well as owning her own small business. Plus she’s a huge help for me personally.

Jennifer is our newest team member, and as Construction Office Administrator she handles everything from estimating and quotes to insurance and bill pay. She’s a huge support to Adrian with all things financial and comes to us with nearly 2 decades of experience in office leadership roles for local construction-related businesses.

And, many of you know Nathaniel who has been with Seely Homes for over three years as Project Manager overseeing the construction of our homes in the field. He expertly manages the jobs while creating great relationships with our clients and trade partners. We are so thankful for his dedication and commitment to quality.

We enter 2025 with excitement for the possibility of what is to come! We are in the best position we’ve ever been at the start of a new year with many homes under construction and permitted. And just last month, we received our Maryland business license and are expanding into Caroline, Dorchester, and Wicomico counties. We have a vision and plan for continued growth and invite you along for the journey as we help many families and individuals achieve their dream of a new home!
