Seely Homes’ Vibrant October: Milestones, Events & Community Highlights

October was an unforgettable month here at Seely Homes, packed with team activities, community events, and exciting milestones! From team outings to giving back to the community and welcoming new faces, we’re thrilled to share the highlights of this productive and heartwarming month. Here’s a look back at everything we achieved together:

1. Team Outing to Fifer Orchards

Date: October 3

We kicked off the month by visiting Fifer Orchards for a day filled with activities including competitive tricycle riding, bouncing on a giant pillow, zip-lining, fall treats, and team bonding. Spending time together outside the office was a fantastic way to connect and set the stage for a great month ahead!

2. Supporting Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

Giving back is important to us, and when Hurricane Helene hit, we came together to provide much-needed donations for flood victims. Our team contributed to a donation drive through local organizations to help impacted families. We continue to keep those communities impacted in our prayers.

3. Sponsorship of the Apple Scrapple Festival

Date: October 11-12

Location: Bridgeville, DE

This year, we were once again proud sponsors of the Apple Scrapple Festival, a local favorite! Our photo booth was a huge hit, capturing fun memories for attendees, and even our mascot Scrappy joined in, dancing and spreading joy throughout the event. It was a fantastic way to connect with our community and support a beloved tradition.

4. Welcoming a New Team Member

October also saw a valuable addition to our team, Jennifer Jester, who joined us as an expert in estimating and purchasing. We’re excited to have her on board, and she’s already been making a positive impact on our projects. Welcome, Jennifer!

5. New Projects and Home Starts

The excitement didn’t stop there—October marked the start of construction on three new homes and a major home addition. Our construction team has been working diligently to bring these beautiful new spaces to life, each designed to provide comfort, quality, and style.

6. Trunk-or-Treating with Local Schools

Locations: Local High School and Elementary School

Activity: October 25 and 30

We got into the fall spirit by participating in local school trunk-or-treat events, dressing up, and handing out candy to kids at both the high school and elementary school. It was a fun way to interact with the young members of our community and celebrate Halloween in a safe and festive environment.

7. A Special Key Handoff on Halloween!

The excitement didn’t stop there—October marked the start of construction on three new homes and a major home addition. Our construction team has been working diligently to bring these beautiful new spaces to life, each designed to provide comfort, quality, and style.
