Team Seely Outing: A Little Competition, A Lot of Fun

At Seely Homes, we believe the homes we build are only as strong as the team behind them—and sometimes the best way to build that team is to step away from the job site and just have some fun together.

After a busy start to March, that included home closings, new sales and the completion of a special renovation project, we took time to celebrate with a team outing at Kiss My Axe in Milford, followed by food and drinks next door at Easy Speak.

And let’s just say… we discovered some hidden talents.

A Close Competition

The competition was strong—especially among our three guys, Nate, Adrian, and Cole, who all scored very closely throughout the day. In the end, Nate edged ahead and earned the title of our Axe-ceptional Champion. Well deserved!

On the women’s side, Darlene stood out as the top performer, earning the Smooth Thrower Award for her accuracy and consistency.

Awards & Laughs

Of course, no Seely team outing would be complete without a little fun recognition. We handed out several awards, including:

• Smooth Thrower Award
• Wild Card Award
• Power Throw Award
• Entertainment Award
• Axe-ceptional Champion Award

Each one brought plenty of laughs and a little friendly competition to the group.

A New Favorite: Throwing Stars

While axe throwing was the main event, one unexpected highlight of the day was trying out the throwing stars—which quickly became a team favorite and added an extra level of “ninja” fun (and challenge!) to the experience.

Great Local Spots

We also want to give a big shoutout to Kiss My Axe for being such a fun and welcoming place to hang out. The atmosphere was great, and it made for the perfect setting for our team outing.

And just next door, Easy Speak did not disappoint. From the relaxed, upbeat vibe to the wonderful food and drinks, it was the perfect way to wrap up the afternoon together.
